As wildfire season continues to impact California and other western states, Guidewire (San Mateo, Calif.) has announced the availability of data and maps detailing wildfire risk at the national, state and local levels through HazardHub, accessible through Guidewire’s solutions, including PolicyCenter, InsuranceNow, and directly via the HazardHub API. The service uses more than 1,000 data points and HazardHub risk scores for climate risks and extreme weather events. The announcement follows that of Guidewire’s latest cloud release, Kufri, which included the extension of HazardHub to 19 additional countries.
